2015 Versa Note SV Review
2015 Versa Note SV Review
By Big D
Welcome to the 2015 Versa Note SV - a great hatchback with style and room.
I personally drive this car. After a little over 3,000 kilometers of driving my average fuel consumption is at 6.3 liters per 100 kilometers (well over 42 Miles Per Canadian Gallon). This is a combination of both city and country driving. The car is actually rated at 7.5 city and 6.0 highway, but I drive conservatively, hence the exceptional number.
One of the main reasons folks purchase a hatchback is for functionality - read, 'room'. For a car that is less than 164 inches long the Versa Note boasts an astounding 94.1 cubic feet of interior space. This number is, not surprisingly, class leading. For a man my size, (6' 5" tall) this means a lot.
With the back seats down there is just under 39 cubic feet of Cargo Room - with the seats occupied there is still almost 19 cubic feet. This is plenty of room. On the SV model I drive (as well as the SR & SL) you also get the Nissan 'Divide-N-Hide' system that allows you to stash goodies away from prying eyes.
Here at Belleville Nissan (613-962-7100) we stock a large selection of these pretty cars.
The SV model (starting at under $17,500 with the CVT transmission) offers all of this and also includes a rear view monitor (handy!), Nissan Connect with Mobile Apps, Bluetooth and a Hands-Free Phone System.
As for looks, well, the Note is just darn sleek. This car has been designed to both look good and to cut the wind like a knife. The Drag Coefficient is a paltry 0.308 - fantastic! Great pains were taken to add little styling cues that help save petrol. This is a win-win in my book. You must come in and check out the style and the room for yourself.
Practicality also means easy access. The rear doors open to darn near 90 degrees - no worries about trying to fit in.
Here at Belleville Nissan we take pride in the safety of our vehicles as well. The 2015 Versa Note has an energy-absorbing steering column, the Nissan Advanced Airbag System, a Traction Control System and Vehicle Dynamic Control. All Standard. If an accident does happen the Zone Body construction means both the front and rear zones will crumple reducing the odds of possible injury.
Like all Nissan products the Versa Note is meant for Canadian drivers to enjoy. The value is exceptional. Whether you plan to lease or buy the Note will fit any budget.
Do yourself a favour and drop in and see me, Dave Johnson, at Belleville Nissan or call and let's set up a time so that I can show you all this car has to offer.
You'll love it!
