Dave's take on the Qashqai

All New Nissan Qashqai!

Well, it has been a bit over four months since Belleville Nissan has had the all new 2017 Qashqai available for sale or lease. In that time this wonderful compact Crossover has become a favourite.

In fact, with the exception of the peerless Rogue, the Qashqai is now our number two top seller.

It is easy to see why.

The Qashqai can be purchased or leased in six various trim levels. There is the Manual Transmission S Model (this is a Front Wheel Drive version) and a CVT (Continuosly Variable Transmission) S Model with the option of both Front Wheel Drive and All Wheel Drive. All S Models come - as standard equipment - with both heated front seats and a Rear View Monitor.

The S Model with the CVT will also include 17" Alloy Wheels.

One step up the chain is the SV Model...again, available in both Front and All Wheel Drive configuration. Despite the very reasonable price point of the SV model you will find your new Qashqai comes with Fog Lights, A Moon Roof, a Heated Steering Wheel (wow!) and Dual Zone Automatic Temperature Control. Exceptional value for sure.

If a little more luxury is desired there is also an SL model which can be trimmed out with or without the Platinum Package.

All SL Qashqai ride on 19" Alloy Wheels - a sharp look. There is Navigation to help you on your journey. There is also the astounding Around View Monitor (it's like a little helicopter is following you around feeding you info about your immediate surroundings). Seating is leather and the driver will enjoy a six way power adjustment with lumbar support. And, like all Qashqai, these seats are the spectacular Zero Gravity Seats, inspired by NASA Technology, which allows for a more comfortable and tension free driving experience. Try it - you'll like it.

At the top of the Qashqai food chain is The Platinum Package.

This will get you:

All of these goodies come wrapped in a beautiful (and aggressively priced) package. The Qashqai Styling is smart and quite easy on the eyes. Inside there is plenty of room. I am close to six and a half feet tall (200 CM) and have absolutely no problem feeling comfortable behind the wheel. There is not as much rear seat room as a Rogue but it should suffice for most families.

I strongly urge you to come in and see me, Dave Johnson, on this one. The Qashqai is fun to drive and easy to park (it has a very, very compact turning radius). Even if you may be a few months or so from a new purchase or lease take a test drive. You'll love it.
